๐Ÿง˜ MEDITATION: Let's Jump Right In - Your first meditative experience!

Without explaining anything, Iโ€™m going to bring you into a โ€˜Meditative Experience.โ€™

It probably doesnโ€™t need the โ€˜quotes,โ€™ but to get you out of thinking [meditation] has to be one specific thing. 

Weโ€™ll begin:

Youโ€™ll just start to noticeโ€ฆ me, here on your screen. How I look, and the sounds that youโ€™re hearing. See if you can zoom your awareness back, and see everything around your screen. You can look around [with your eyes]. Let yourself look around the space that your in [by turning your head]. When I do that, I start to notice my breath. Start to notice your breath, and start to notice the feeling, the sensations of you touching the ground. The support under you and behind you. Feel whatever is touching down; your feet on the floor, your bum on the floor or the chair. Itโ€™s just natural for me - when I notice that - my breath slows down and lengthens. It might not be natural for you right now, but it might come with practice. Noticing where youโ€™re supported. If you are leaning back - or if you can - you can sit back and lean back, and feel that sensation. So, start with where youโ€™re held from below. If your hands are resting, feel them resting down on your thighs, and then feel where youโ€™re supported, perhaps from behind. Take one more deep breath inโ€ฆ and out.
